Díana is born in 1973 in Iceland. She is an Fine Art and Documentary Photographer. She received her masters degree in Photography and Art from the Novia University of Applied Sciences in Finland.

Díana is a versatile artist that captures everything from landscape photography to portraits. But mostly she gravitate towards stories of unsung heroics where ordinary people in moments of vulnerability reveal extraordinary resilience. Díana has participated in many exhibitions both in Iceland and Internationally. She has received several international awards for her work. Her first Photo book Hnúkurinn was published in 2018.

Díana is a member of The Icelandic Contemporary Photographers, FÍSL and Association of Icelandic Visual Artist, SÍM.
